Ok, but in the meantime, is there a file that can be edited (that would not survive an update/upgrade) which would hide these fields?

I have the same issue, people send EMT (Electronic Money Transfers) or “Manual Payments” People do not want to provide their address information.

Is there a way to make this not required or select specific information that is required such as first name, last name and email?
