I am sending only digital information and getting paid via PayPal so there is no reason for my customers to have to fill out detailed physical address information. It is just a nuisance for them. Is there a way to remove the “required” status of everything but the email address?
Thanks, Jim

If your customers are paying via their PayPal accounts, they shouldn’t have to keep entering their physical addresses. Once they log in to PayPal all they will really need to do is click a “Pay Now” button.
However, if they choose to pay with credit card (on the PayPal site) then they will need to enter more information.
September 29, 2014 at 6:42 pm #61678ZeusMemberI have the same issue, people send EMT (Electronic Money Transfers) or “Manual Payments” People do not want to provide their address information.
Is there a way to make this not required or select specific information that is required such as first name, last name and email?
September 29, 2014 at 11:29 pm #61679muleymadnessMemberI’d also like the option of not having to fill out the address field etc. Sometimes I would like to use a coupon code and give away a FREE digital print via download. If I do so I’m still required to fill out the required field (without going to PayPal) as I’m not collecting money.
So would be nice to have an option in this situation to just collect name and email and that’s it.

October 2, 2014 at 1:09 pm #61683muleymadnessMemberPeter,
Regarding this checkout page with address fields. When I use a mobile device (iPhone 5s) it takes me straight to PayPal paying options page only. On my MAC computer it takes me to to the manual checkout page if price is set to zero which is what I prefer and want. On mobile device when it doesn’t take me to the manual checkout page. Make sense? Any ideas?
October 2, 2014 at 6:34 pm #61684muleymadnessMemberIf I apply a coupon code and apply a ZERO amount, it takes me to the manual checkout page on a normal browser/computer. If I do the exact same procedure on mobile device it skips the checkout page and takes the price back to full amount and takes me straight to PayPal payment option page.
October 3, 2014 at 12:25 am #61685PeterMemberOk thanks for the info. I will do some investigations and tests today to see what’s going on.
