Thank you for your quick response.
Yes, I have enabled debug both on my eStore plugin and my Gateway Bundle addon. They do work.
Better yet, I have since made some further changes in my PayPal Manager’s settings of the billing information (trying something different from what their integration technician suggested) and go figure, it works perfectly now – credit card payments go through smoothly!
Turned out the issue was on PayPal’s end after all, sometimes just improvising and trying it out ends up in the solution zone…
Being a novice in all this, it can get a bit overwhelming when you hit a wall, but not far behind it – exciting when you hit an open door

November 14, 2014 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Payment Gateway processing page hangs while checking out with credit card #66252YoramMemberI use eStore with Payment Gateway Bundle addon, with the PayPal Advanced setting in the gateway bundle (the PayPal gateway in eStore is disabled).
The PayPal Pay Now option goes through OK. The Credit or Debit Card option does not. It hangs up each time and redirects to the error page on my site.
The PayPal Advanced Integration technician claims it is an issue on the cart side (eStore), and not PayPal – perhaps a missing step collecting the billing address info prior to reaching the PayPal checkout page, thus not enabling the processing of CC checkout… Seems odd, yet it is a “hang it up” loop that never progresses beyond this point.
Is there indeed a missed step, some additional setting required? What causes this repeated failure in processing?
Using WordPress 4.0, site – a child theme of Genesis framework v2.1.2, eStore v7.1.6. Payment Gateway Bundle v1.9.7.
(Site is currently down for upgrades, but was tested live repeatedly regarding the above issue. Can give access to support technician by direct email if it helps resolving the issue).
