I want to take Out “Company Name” from the Edit member profile.
OR
Alternatively, if I could make “Company Name” a required field when signing up, that would also work (because I edited the display text for Company Name.) Thanks!
June 6, 2011 at 7:43 pm in reply to: I want to change the size of the thumbnails in the fancy display option. #33046verityMemberWe’re close, but I still can’t make it do what I want. Editing “Fancy 3” has no effect on my product display. I checked the source code of my page and it uses fancy2, not fancy3. So I found the css for fancy2, located here: wp_eStore_style.css
And I changed the width, height, and margins to the correct numbers, but my page remains unchanged. I then tried adding ! important to the width and heigh for the thumbnail So I still can’t figure where to change the thumbnail for my product displays.

.thumb-image{
width:200px ! important;
height:313px ! important;
}

What am I missing? Thanks so much for your help
June 6, 2011 at 5:34 am in reply to: How to open "Terms and Conditions" page link from shopping cart in same window #28426verityMemberI tried to delete the target blank part and doesn’t work anymore. Instead of launching a new little window, it sends me here:
Is there a way to get the Terms and Conditions in a little pop-up window right in the same page?
Thanks.
verityMemberI have set up the settings as you describe. Is it because I am using a different type of button?
I had it working a week ago (using a buy now button), but I needed to change the code to show a shopping cart (rather than just go straight to paypal) so I could add coupons. Could that be causing the problem?

[wp_eStore_fancy_display id=4 type=1 style=2]

If that’s not it, would be be willing to take a look at my site and help me figure it out? I have watched the videos and gone through the payment process several times. I do not have Sandbox enabled, so I should be getting the emails, correct?
Thanks
verityMemberWe are testing out site before we launch, and we cannot get the auto emails to work properly.
When someone purchase a membership, we want them to get an email to complete their registration. But they get an emai that says this:
Thank you for your purchase!
12 Month Basic Membership x 1 – $0.45 (USD)
Any items to be shipped will be processed as soon as possible, any items that can be downloaded can be downloaded using the encrypted links below.
12 Month Basic Membership – This product does not have any downloadable content
I need to know how to get the email to contain the link to complete their membership registration. As well as how to edit the text of this email. thank you.

June 3, 2011 at 8:41 pm in reply to: Explanation of Why the Cart Adds Another Item After a Page Refresh #26624verityMemberI have a related question. When I add something to the shopping cart, the page acts like it’s reloading, but it comes up blank. So then I refresh. Nothing happens, the page it still blank. So then I refresh again. Still nothing. One more time. Still nothing. Then I hit the back button, and my page loads, but I have three of the same item in my shopping cart.
Is there a trick to getting the page to load correctly after adding something to the shopping cart?
On a related note, can you explain how to “place WP-eStore in a text widget?” I know how to make a put a text widget on a page, but not how to add a plug-in to a widget.
May 21, 2011 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Hiding content from registered users but not general public? #31665verityMemberWhen a free member is logged in, they don’t have access to the paid content. I want to remove the line that says “Please Renew your account.” How do I remove this text, but keep the text that says “Please login or join.”?
May 21, 2011 at 3:33 pm in reply to: Hiding content from registered users but not general public? #31664verityMemberIt worked. Thanks!
May 21, 2011 at 3:20 am in reply to: Hiding content from registered users but not general public? #31662verityMemberI edited line 5 of eng.php
define("EMEMBER_HIDDEN_CONTENT_MESSAGE","Please <a href="http://mywebsite.com/login">login</a> or <a href="http://mywebsite.com/membership-payment">join.");
And here is the error I got:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/15/6853715/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/lang/eng.php on line 5
The site won’t even load with that code edited, so I put the code back to what it was, without any html in it.
May 20, 2011 at 4:20 pm in reply to: Hiding content from registered users but not general public? #31660verityMemberI want to be able to have links within the hidden content message. For example if my hidden content message says “Please login or join, ” I want it to display as
I tried adding html code to the eng.php file, but it gave me a syntax error. Is it possible to have links in this message?
verityMemberI figured it out. I didn’t know that all I was trying to do was embed a quicktime movie. But once I figured out that source code, it worked perfectly. Even though I didn’t end of using your Lightbox plugin on this project, I will definitely use it on another project. Thanks for the great product and great forum. I will tell my friends about site whenever they need wordpress plugins. THANKS!
verityMemberMy dear husband purchased your lightbox plugin because he really liked it. But when I started building our website, it turns out that the lightbox functionality was already built into the wordpress theme we purchased. But their video player doesn’t play as nicely as yours. So we’d like to figure out a way to use your embed code and video player (instead of theirs).
Is there another product of yours that we can purchase to help us get the embed code? I promise am not trying to be difficult. This is my first video site. I am just new to this and trying to figure it all out. And I really love your products and support and I want to find a way to use the great player that you guys made. Thanks.
verityMemberI am using mov files.
Here is the shortcode I’m using:
Code:[wp_lightbox_special_mov_video link=”http://veritychurchmedia.com/videos/preview-videos/00001_Squares_YellowOrangeBlue_Wide-H264_800Kbps_Streaming.mov” width=427 height=240 source=”http://veritychurchmedia.com/videos/stills/00001_Squares_Yellow_Orange_Blue/SquaresYellowOrangeBlueSTD_427x240_Poster.jpg” title=”Squares: Yellow, Orange and Blue”]The movie in the black bar at the top is done using another encoding method (JW Player). But it is glitchy. I want it to play smoothly and loop, like it does when I embed it using your code. But I need the movie to play in the black bar at the top, rather than in an overlay. For ease of finding the embed code, I referenced two different movie files. The one is the top black bar is named: “http://veritychurchmedia.com/videos/preview-videos/00001_Squares_YellowOrangeBlue_Wide-H264_800Kbps_Streaming.mov”.
The movie done using your shortcode is named “http://veritychurchmedia.com/videos/preview-videos/00001_Squares_YellowOrangeBlue_Watermark.mov”.
Here is the URL: http://veritychurchmedia.com/large-colored-squares/
verityMemberI see instructions for embedding a Vimeo, YouTube, or Viddler movie. But I am using self-hosted videos, an I just want the embed code, not the lightbox code. I am at a loss. Please help.
