Thanks for the reply. What you describe is pretty much what I already have set up. (And as I said, it works great.)
However, what I’m trying to do is make it so that, on a page with a list of many songs, the customer does not have to enter an amount for each song they select. Instead, they can add their selections to the cart and then, at checkout, enter one amount (or none at all.) In other words, eliminating the multiple price boxes beside each “Add to Cart” button, and instead including a single name-your-price box or button at checkout.
Here’s my idea: Editing the manual-checkout page so that it includes an optional PayPal “donate” button. The customer would still be required to enter a name and email.
If they choose to ignore the donation, the manual checkout would still be processed normally. But if they select the “donate” button, they would be directed to a PayPal donation page, and then, after payment, be redirected back to whatever eStore element is responsible for delivering the downloads they ordered.
Is this possible?
