Right now, I can see it being a separate product in the db, 15+ books (product name), $20 (product Price), $2 shipping, 15 (minimum quantity).
This would allow me to set up the single click for the shopping cart, I could just create a list of entries like on this page…

TrendsettingMemberWell, the number purchased must be at least a certain amount before a price would kick in. When you click “add to cart” it would have the minimum quantity instead of “1” which is the current default. There would be no way the Quantity value could be lower than the Minimum quantity. That way, I could set a unit price for bulk orders. You could add the box right next to the “product Price” on the add/edit products page.
An even better solution would be to have a maximum quantity for that price as well, so you could offer different levels of discount for the same product.
My example is buying a book…for buying 1-14 copies, the price would be $25 + tax + $5 shipping per book.
If you bout 15+ books the price would be $20/book + tax + $2 shipping per book
If there was a min and max, I could have a price for maybe 50+ books even cheaper, but still based on a single price and shipping per book.
TrendsettingMemberAny chance of adding a “minimum quantity” box to a future update? It shouldn’t be hard to add.
TrendsettingMemberBut you can’t have multiple coupons. How could I discount shipping and the price of a product if they were to buy bulk?
TrendsettingMemberCan a coupon apply to the shipping as well as the price?
TrendsettingMemberI suppose another way to do this is to have a minimum quantity box.
