Well, that does fix the problem, but not ideally! If I still want them to verify the email on the second full registration form and the person makes a mistake, the system still does not allow them to change the email address. I just don’t think the process is functioning as intended. Then again, I could be totally out to lunch!
If you try to register for a free membership on a site that requires email confirmation, try making a mistake in the second registration form and see what the system does.
Thanks for the suggestion. One of the problem emails was in the user area, so that explains that. However, the other issue remains that when a person puts in an invalid email it doesn’t let you go in and enter a new one. It freezes you out of making any changes, even though it says, please use a different email.
We have Bloom and WP Affiliate installed, but neither are activated and collecting emails.
