I installed the WP eStore plugin on my Live server and gave this a test and it works fine indeed. The file gets sent, however when you mentioned above, “You can use a email field in the contact form and match it up with the sales notification”, how would I go about doing this?

You know sometimes, when you make a purchase online, at the end after you have made the final payments, you get an overview of your purchase in a webpage to see? Is there a way to make something like this showing the Transaction ID? Maybe I could use that on the Thank You page or as the Thank you page and request the customer to enter the Transaction ID in a special email field?

ah ha, ok, that explains that part of not receiving emails.

I’ll install it on my live server and continue testing there.

I added a test thank you page and was taken nicely to this page. I used Contact Form 7 to create it and used the file upload option. The file uploaded and was sent successfully, but I did not see anything in the backend, manage customers of the file.

I am also not getting emails sent to me after a manual purchase has been made.

Could it be because I am testing this locally in my iMac using MAMP?

Hi Amin,

Thanks again for this. I’ll give it a try. When the file is uploaded at the “Thank You” page, will it be associated in any way to the specific purchase? Or maybe I can use the “Collect Customer Input” checkbox as well to ask them for the filename they are going to upload?

OK, I added the option “Choose Region” to the shipping variation option like this,

Region|Choose Region|Netherlands:2.20|Europe:6.20|World:10.45

It works fine if a visitor adds something to the cart, he or she sees to choose the region and then gets the Click the Update message. But still, if the person doesnt’see that or doesn’t want to, they can still go to paypal. I guess if this happens, I could always send a paypal payment request for the rest, but if it happens a lot, it might be a bit cumbersome.

Also, if something is added to the cart and a region is chosen, should the person remove the cart items and add something else, the region is still selected. I think this comes from the cookie, right? So the person will need to be made aware to click the Update button again.

The thing is, I need to add shipping. The three options are The Netherlands, Europe and Rest of the World. So all need to have a price added.

I was thinking about this yesterday, maybe I can add an option at the top that just says, “Choose Region” or something?

Thanks very much for the responses. My cart language is in English. Amin, I tried the code addition in the post you mentioned and it works. Only difference is that with US, it goes to the old Paypal signin/payment page and not the new one, but that is fine. I prefer the english page.

Using the br code, will indeed add a new line. I was thinking of just moving the select box a couple of positions to the right. But looking at this, I probably could use the   code? I’ll give it a try.
