Yes, that was my initial thoughts.
I could work out each possible measurement and just have them listed inside one variation control (for example – “1mx1m=$30”, “1mx2m=$60” and so on).
That example uses simple addition logic to increase with each measurement option.
But then it got me wondering – if there were a tonne of available measurements (1×1, 1×1.2, 1×1.3 and so on) would there be a way to use 2 variation controls and have the price calculated?
So, I created 2 controls – 1 for width and 1 for height.
But as you can imagine, if you follow through on that logic, the price won’t be right as it needs to multiple the measurements rather than simply add the measurements.
Am I trying to find something in eStore that’s a bit of a stretch?
Can it simply not handle multiplying 2 variations together to quote a price?
Is my only option to ditch that hope, and simply build one variation control with a huge list of available calculated sizes?
