The emails were still coming in this morning 9 hours later! As soon as I installed the new version of eStore, they stopped!

I still need to test another purchase, but it appears to be fixed. Thanks!

Looking at the IPN log, it appears to me that paypal is continuously sending the post string to eStore and eStore is not giving paypal the acknowledgement that it wants.

Here is one transaction from the log 34 minutes after the last purchase was made, after the server was rebooted, eStore was deactivated and reactivated.

Still no luck with the upgrade. I have my receipt and double checked everything. It is all correct but it won’t send me an email!

Is there nothing else we can do?

How long is that going to take? I’ll fill out the automatic again…

In the meantime, here’s some interesting clues:

BTW, I was receiving emails still from purchases I did hours ago. One every few minutes from all the different purchases. They are all in the log file of eStore, so it can’t be my server sending the same email over and over.

Yet when I deactivated eStore they continued to show in my inbox.

    Here’s the sequence:

My last purchase was at 9:52.

At 10:18 I got more emails (many since the last purchase)

At 10:19 I rebooted my server.

At 10:23 I received more emails from eStore.

    At 10:24 I deactivated eStore

At 10:26 I received more email

    At 10:27 I reactivated eStore

At 10:27 I Reset the debug files

At 10:29 I received more emails and the log files showed that eStore sent them!

I don’t know how this can be.

I still don’t have the newest version. The automatic request said “Success” but no email! I sent a manual request, but no email!

I saw your message after I wrote mine. I have sent a manual request for upgrade since the automatic form did not work.

I have every plugin deactivated on my site except those listed in the well behaved plugin list and it is still doing the same thing.

    Now what?

Can’t seem to send the ipn log. When I hit “Send Post” it just takes me to the forum home page. If you have an email address to send it to I’ll send it…

Okay, I deactivated and then reactivate eStore and tried another purchase. It did the same thing.

Okay, I’m using WordPress 3.2.1, eStore 5.3.1, I have WP eMember and WP Affiliate, both deactivated.

I am selling digital downloads. I have a test product for .10 that I am using for the tests. This was copied from a real product and the price changed. It is at [http://sweatybitz.com/products]

I am using iThemes Builder theme. The only plugins that are email related are, Email Obfuscator and MailChimp. I have not actually deactivated any plugins yet to test this, mainly I thought you will probably have seen this before and could save me a lot of time deactivating plugins and buying my product over and over. :)

When I purchase the product off the above page, it takes me to paypal correctly, it comes back to the correct return URL, it has the order information on the page with the encrypted link (which is different than all the email links), and then emails start hitting my inbox. Each email is a correctly formatted thank you email with an encrypted link. All the email links are different from each other and the return URL’s link.

    Would the pin_handle_debug.log help any?

That’s all I know to tell you. Let me know what next step to take! Like everyone, I need to get it working quickly. :)

    Thanks.

Did you notice that 3 get sent all at once, and then they spread out? I just received the 14th notice on this purchase!

Under mail chimp settings, I have “Use MailChimp AutoResponder” Unchecked and I took the list name out of the product to be sure it wasn’t overriding something.

I want to have mail chimp working when all is said and done, but I was turning it off to see if it was part of the problem.
