Thanks for your reply. This site is a new wordpress install and only has emember installed. No other plugins. I may just go ahead and delete the entire site and try a new wordpress install and see if the problem stays or goes.

I am having the exact same problem. I have a clean install of version 8.4.3 Have unchecked both check boxes for the last name field under Registration Form Fields.

Even if you leave the last name field blank, it returns with the error that all fields must be filled in.

I am using the free membership must verify email option.
