As of right now, I disabled the SMTP for testing, and will have to talk to my host tomorrow about verifying the SMTP details for the domain’s emailbox. Hopefully, having all of these accounts consistent will help, right?
rm3kMemberSo I’ve tried these methods you mentioned, and I am able to have people receive the registration email.
However, I am not able to receive the registration email to a gmail account yet…is this a problem that has happened before?
rm3kMemberYes, I tested that, and using the “Generate a Registration Completion Link” I was able to immediately send out and receive the registration email, and click the link to complete the process.
rm3kMemberI continued to troubleshoot and went through the checklist on https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/not-receiving-emails-even-though-the-plugin-sent-the-email although nothing changed for me…I am still not receiving the email and it did not ever reach the spam folder either.

I do believe I have activated IPN through Paypal already, but we will see for sure.

I’m using JUST the eMember plugin and having issues where the new users are not being emailed when their payment goes through. Any guidance on this and how it should be set up through Paypal would be wonderful, I’ve watched all the documentation videos and tried multiple configurations, but still am not receiving any email notifications for new users.
