I figured creating a new product would fix the issue, but how can I prevent this from happening again?
If I introduce a new subscription product with a coupon code, if it is applied in Stripe, apparently ALL subsequent subscriptions will have the discount applied!
4. Is there any way to add the cart amount to the Stripe fields upon checkout?
Please disregard this question. Amount does appear on Stripe checkout form, contrary to report from a user.
To Clarify: The amount shows full price upon checking out, but Stripe transaction goes through with the discount applied.
