I got the solution from their forum, so you’d think they’d be aware of it. We are using a slightly older version of GBS anyway, so it’s probably fixed in current.
It seems to work now after I commented out
if ( !defined(‘WP_AFFILIATE_PLATFORM_VERSION’) ) {
//define(‘WP_AFFILIATE_PLATFORM_VERSION’, 0);
}
in /controllers/groupBuyingAffiliates.class.php.
Debug mode is enabled in WPA but the log files still come up empty, guess we have a problem here. Granted, the purchase was made with store credit and not “actual” money, but you’d think it should still give of something. Do I have to enable wordpress log and gbs log (if it exists)?

4) Enable debug by checking the enable debug field in the settings menu of the affiliate plugin so you can provide us some log data when we ask for it.
Done.
