its quick now when you click on a photo however when you are in a gallery and you click to the next page it takes a long time to go to the next page.
Thanks both it is a lot quicker now, I deleted all the plugins I wasn’t using and unticked Preview Photo via Page: which seemed to really speed up the site.
I just need to upload the rest of the photos and see what the speed is like..

its being hosted by unlimited web hosting co uk however the domain is with one.com so i have it pointed at unlimited web hosting.
could this be the reason why.
Yep i have done this, i have put them into a file of 15 photos and it unzipped and watermarked them all okay.
Shared Server and just enabled logging as read in one of your previous posts. will test again in an hour when settings updated..
I have been trying to resolve this with the support of my hosting people and they have increased the max execution limits etc and my bulk unzipping keeps stopping midway.
he says its probably down to a php setting within the wordpress application that he cant change. is there a limit to the max size of the unzipping as I have quite a lot of photos within each folder.

I didn’t as I managed to get it to upload and work just before you posted your reply here the winzip file still had a subfile in it. when I now click on bulk import it says 400 photos would you like to import.
I click yes and it starts importing them however it got stuck at 33 last time and now stuck at photo 36 which it has been stuck at for an hour.
I had a subfile in my compressed file which was why it was giving me an error code.
i created a win-zip file with 5 photos in and uploaded that which works fine. no error code
i have now winzipped all the rest of my photos i want to upload and i have uploaded them into bulk import and now it says 0 photos inside rather than the error code.
