MemberMy version is pretty old, about one and a half year old.
Updating it might solve the problem but I found another solution.
I copied all the text from the “digital product variation” box into the “download link” box and now it works.
And btw it also works with spaces in the filenames.

MemberOk, I removed the blank spaces and it now look like this, I of course also changed the coresponding files in amazon s3.
[removed info after troubleshooting]
But it still doesn’t work, it says: “This product does not have any downloadable content” when I try to generate a link.
There must be a simple solution to this. Could it be a bug in my particular version, or have I forgot to fill in some other box.

MemberI changed to a button with the text “Pay Now”. I now need to find a way to change the width and height of the button because it looks a bit disproportional.

MemberI found the solution. I had to turn “PayPal Account Optional” on.
(Profile–>See my old Profile page–>Website Payment Preferences–>PayPal Account Optional)
It might also be necessary to verify your business or premier account. I’m not sure if it’s needed.
I have another question: When a customer wants to pay with credit card it might be a little confusing to click on a button with the text: “Check out with paypal”.
Is there a way to fix that. For example have one button for paypal and one for credit card or one button with a better description.

MemberThanks,
I know what you are talking about.
It simply doesn’t work anymore. It states clearly that I have a premier account on paypal’s website. It worked some days ago.
I guess I’ll have contact paypal then. I’ll keep you updated.

MemberThis doesn’t work for me anymore.
Have they changed paypal?
Edit: I tried to buy one of the products on your site and it worked fine (the credit card option appeared).

MemberIt seems to work with spaces in the filename. When I added the spaces Amazon S3 added “+” where the spaces should have been in the link.
When I linked them to the website I used the normal filename with normal spaces.

MemberThis forum is really great.. it would have been heavy to figure all of this out on my own.
I should probably stop posting now.
(If like happy techno/trance you can check the site I was working on: http://www.djconta.com, it’s not finished jet)

MemberThanks

MemberThank you, it worked great.
I have two less important questions:
– I had to right click and then click “save as” in order to save it(which isn’t a big deal)but is there a way to force the web browser to save the file when I left click on it. (when I left clicked it only opened the file.)
– Can I stream mp3 files from Amazon S3 through a flash mp3 player on my website.

Member“DJ_Conta_songs” is the bucked name. I should change it to “dj_conta_songs”.

MemberThanks,
I switched to Amazon S3.
When I tried this time I got an “Access Denied” message when I clicked on the download link.
I have filled in both Access Keys in addon settings.
I used this url:
as3tp://bucket.s3.amazonaws.com/DJ_Conta_songs/DJ_Contacreast_Skybeam.mp3
