Thanks for responding.
However….
a.) again, the document you listed I had already viewed is out of date with how amazon CloudFront looks today vs. when PDF was detailed. Meaning most of it no longer applies. They’ve changed their setup and the credential requirements.
b.) more importantly the setup between CloudFront AND the plugin itself is NOT detailed. Meaning that the PDF goes from talking about CloudFront setup and then immediately jumps to showing you the shortcodes you need for different types of displays.
It is my understanding that Cloudfront REQUIRES that you have not only an access key but also a secret PEM key, as well as a policy to set up streaming, without those things present you can’t stream anything. That’s the beauty of Cloudfront. No security, no streaming.
magicmilesMemberI knew I should have been a bit more clear….oy.
Let’s try this one more time with a bit more clarity this time.
1.) Amazon S3 is not an option, I want the end user to VIEW the file, not be able to download it. So essentially a streaming option which is what AMAZON CLOUDFRONT is for. Mind you cloudfront and s3 are basically the same things. However, the difference is that S3 will allow for you to download the actual file, cloudfront will only allow you to view it within a specific player!
2.) I need to obfuscate the URL from the user.
