Hi,
I’m wondering if there’s a bit of information missing from this document ?
and furthermore these instructions are woefully out of date:
To my question….
How does one configure for Amazon CLOUDFRONT with the plug-in ? I just bought the plugin, and am wondering where the set up for this is at. Because all I see is S3 setup credentials. And there should be access keys for cloudfront specifically and then policy settings to deal with here and there are none.
WTF ?!?!?!
So would someone like to tell me how to configure Cloudfront please, because this noise:
[wp_lightbox_ultimate_amazon_s3_cloudfront video=”Technique-1-Presence.mp4″
domain=”xxxxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net” width=”920″ height=”480″ title=”Presence”
anchor_type=”image” source=”http://xxxxxxxxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Technique-1-Presence.jpg”%5D
is NOT going to work folks.
Clarity please….
Thank you.

Please check this link if you need to find a particular documentation page:

However….
a.) again, the document you listed I had already viewed is out of date with how amazon CloudFront looks today vs. when PDF was detailed. Meaning most of it no longer applies. They’ve changed their setup and the credential requirements.
b.) more importantly the setup between CloudFront AND the plugin itself is NOT detailed. Meaning that the PDF goes from talking about CloudFront setup and then immediately jumps to showing you the shortcodes you need for different types of displays.
It is my understanding that Cloudfront REQUIRES that you have not only an access key but also a secret PEM key, as well as a policy to set up streaming, without those things present you can’t stream anything. That’s the beauty of Cloudfront. No security, no streaming.
July 3, 2016 at 5:39 am #73596adminKeymasterThe cloudfront videos work for sure (we tested it). We will update the documentation so it matches with the current interface so there is less confusion. We will get back to you.
February 2, 2019 at 11:21 am #73597MichaelSpectatorGreetings,
I am back on the forum, this is my eighth year with Tips and Such cool plugins, were else would go.
I know it is something and glaringly obvious but hey 2 weeks is enough staring at a screen scratching my head. So Help!
However I must say this one has me stumped after checking and rechecking for a couple of weeks I cannot seem to stream with cloudfront. My main consideration for Cloudfront is do the videos play faster between when clicked and start playing. There is a bit of lag if using a node in the USA to OZ. This videos are on the node in Australia anyway.
I have followed this document carefully: http://lightbox.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-content/uploads/lightbox-ult-doc/wp-lightbox-ultimate-s3-cloudfront-video-integration.pdf
My test videos are here: lampstand.com.au/member-login/5-blessings-of-a-father/
My Code

I cant work out what Im doing wrong, it must be when i unload to S3 and the permissions instructions, I just don’t see it.
