Alas, I am a bit new WordPress, and appreciated the article.

I wonder if it is possible to keep Divi if we knew which features to eliminate or supply in another manner. This is a new website that my client is still paying for, so we are not ready for a re-design. And yet she need affiliate functionality. (She should have started there, right?Lesson learned…)

For instance, you mentioned the eCommerce “Shop.” We are using WooCommerce, which is not the same, right?

It also makes me wonder if we can use a different, compatible theme for the product/shop/cart pages…but then I think WP Affiliate would still mess with the formatting on the Divi pages?

Do you think there is a chance that some of this would clear up with the upgrade in PHP?

Yes, I am clearly in over my head.
