Never mind, I found my error. I had the login link in the download digital part of the membership products. Well, duh that should be blank.
And I did get the email to the registrations page after awhile .
So please ignore this.
Judith TramayneMemberI just did this. It’s in the wp-cart-for-digital-products/languages/eng.php or whatever language you’re using.
Go to:
1. Plugin Editor
2) Find the php file I mentioned above in the right column and click on it.
3) When it comes into Edit Plugins part. scroll down to bottom.
You put your changes in define (ESTORE_FREE_EMAIL_BODY”
Click update and you’re good to go.
As to changing the from field for email – that is done for all products in the Settings part of EStore.
Hope this helps,
Judith
Judith TramayneMemberYes, it’s a valid URL because I use the Media Library in WordPress for all my images. Since it won’t make anything go wonky, I’ll ignore it.
Thanks
Judith TramayneMemberFor individual products or members who purchase for GetResponse integration, am I supposed to put:
campaignname
or
campaignname @getresponse.com
In the directions for products your example is the second choice but in the directons for the autoresponder settings in eMember, you’re saying it’s the first way.
You can see why I’m a little confused.
Judith TramayneMemberWhen I checked, my free product is also not going through to GetResponse
Judith TramayneMemberNot on mine – I turned confirmation opt-in off.
Judith TramayneMemberOK, I found where I put another link into the eMember_logged_widget. It works so hopefully members will not be confused when they are already logged in and click on my login menu link, go over to the login page and are faced with the eMember logged widget.
What I believe would be better solution is having the member be logged out automatically when they close their browser.
That way when they go to the login link page, they have to input their Username and password again so they are immediately taken to the Member Area Home page.
If there is something already in eMember could you point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Judith TramayneMemberFound out the name – eMember_logged_widget is what’s showing up if the member is still logged in.
I do not want this to show on Login Page if member is logged in but forgot to log out.
If this can’t be changed, how do I add another link which says “Go to Member Area” instead of just “Logout” or “edit Profile”.
Right now my members would be lost how to get into the member area.
BTW, figured out how to get the wp eMember login into the Member Area sidebar. Just move the WP eMember Login into the widget. Liked it better than the shortcode of their name and logout link.
Judith TramayneMemberOK my redirect works to go to the page but if a member does not log out and they click on the login link again, they get the information about their name, their membership status etc.
I would like this information to be on my member area page and not the login link page.
I’ve seen where you have this in a widget on a video but it hasn’t been explained how to put the info there.
What I want when a member is logged in and doesn’t log out, that if they click on my main navigation login in link, they will be taken immediately to my member-area page.
As it stands now, they get the status information with no link to member area page as I have main navigation for my site and a separate navigation when they go into the member area.
It’s really unclear how the logged in member would get to my member area.
Judith TramayneMemberI doubt if you’re missing something. I thought it had something to do with having a confirmed opt-in. It wouldn’t show in Get Response until the member confirmed.
But I too am having problems with emember and GetResponse not recognizing my test member.
So hopefully someone will answer are two questions/posts.
