Ok, I’ll have a word with the server manager (they have a dedi so I’ll see about them allocating more RAM/CPU to the site affected.
Is there a page on here with the RAM/CPU requirement, I couldn’t find it.
Thanks again for all your help,
Paul.
ipaul79MemberThis is really weird, the problem has disappeared again…
The problem was with all existing PDF files (even the ones that worked before)
Could it be to do with server load or some kind of configuration with the server?
The problem was evident for 6-8 hours yesterday but as of today…it’s working perfectly.
Thanks,
Paul.
ipaul79MemberHi guys, hope you don’t mind me reactivating this ticket.
Well it’s been a good run, but we’ve just launched a new product, brought in a number of new members and…the same thing is happening again.
Please see attached screencast [http://screencast.com/t/qPCmjwkIBj4]
This is a serious problem which we would really appreciate a response to at your earliest convenience.
Thanks again,
Paul.
ipaul79MemberYes, using the shortcode
I will keep an eye out, it’s been behaving itself recently (and quite beautifully I must add).
If it happens again I’ll get in touch.
Kindest regards,
Paul.
ipaul79Member“The PDFs are accessed within a secure membership site using the WP Download Link that you so kindly provided us with.”
I did say that a few posts back.
They login to the secure member site.
They then visit the page with a module video embeded from Wistia with a download PDF button below it.
It is this button that I am referring to.
ipaul79MemberInterestingly enough, the message wasn’t appearing to start with.
Then, we launched our product and generated about 1.5GB worth of stamped PDFs within a few days.
It was at that point where the message was starting to show on the screen.
The only thing I have done today is clear the cache and the stamped files and now…the message is no longer appearing.
Most peculiar, any ideas?
Thanks,
Paul.
ipaul79MemberHi wzp, thanks for the suggestion.
The PDFs are accessed within a secure membership site using the WP Download Link that you so kindly provided us with.
Is there a simpler way to do it please?
Just the removal of the message on the screen OR replacing with a general message would be perfect.
I can change the code myself, just not sure which line needs changed.
Thanks once again,
Paul.
