Just checking to see if there are any updates on this thread.
I love WP eStore and also interested in testing Paypal Digital Goods Payments.
Do they work together?
September 12, 2011 at 1:16 am in reply to: WP eStore Buy Button Doesn't Work When Opened in a New Tab #36507hyperinkMemberThank you for the quick response. I understand the difference but was hoping there was a way to have a button and still satisfy this use case.
The reality is sometimes our team wants to use buttons and people will want to open it in a new tab. How would you handle it?
hyperinkMemberOne more thing – if there is an easy way to e-mail myself or store in a database all the data the WP eStore gets from the Paypal IPN that would be GREAT!
hyperinkMemberThanks for the fast response. I read your link and it sounds like it allows one revenue sharing amount for each product.
We only have a single product, but want every purchasing customer to specify what amount/% they would like to give to charity.
Please tell me there is a way for WP eStore to do that. At the least, it would be great if WP eStore can e-mail me all the HTML form values it receives.
hyperinkMemberNevermind. I figured that part out, WP eStore directly supports it
Since I’m here, I have a follow-up question – on my sales page, I will allow buyers to specify the % of money that goes to charity. I am fine with Paypal directly buyer me the entire value and then I’ll give a % of the sales to the charity afterwards.
However, can you tell me how WP eStore (or a different mechanism) can store the % to charity for each transaction? Although not ideal, I’m fine with the % to charity being e-mailed to me upon purchase.
Thanks,
Matt
hyperinkMemberThanks for the quick reply. Too bad it needs that intermittent page, I was hoping it could be avoided. When using your WP shortcode it doesn’t have the intermittent page.
The orange button is what I mean by a HTML+CSS generated button – http://www.ivyleagueadmissions.org/ebook/
A link that isn’t an image or simple text, but a HTML <button> element.
hyperinkMemberHi,
Question 1 – I was wondering if there is a way to have a buy link from a HTML+CSS generated button?
Question 2- With a “text buy now” link, I would like a seamless UX where they are directly taken to the Paypal page. With the method you described above for a text buy now link, a new window opens up and there is a 5 second countdown to be redirected. I would prefer if my customers were directly transferred like when they click on your shortcode (example – [wp_eStore_buy_now_custom_button id=1 button=/images/buy-button.png])
Thanks!
hyperinkMemberWill there be Google In-App Payments support anytime soon?

Thanks,

hyperinkMemberHi Amin, I would like to use the helper plugin, sending you an email.
hyperinkMemberHi, I’d like to follow up on this post. We’d also like to upgrade from Paypal’s standard checkout to having the checkout be completely on-site. Since the digital goods api that Strategerizer mentioned seems to support credit cards, it looks like a very good option. Are there any plans to support this api, or if not, could you give me pointers on how to integrate it? (happy to help out with development)
Alternatively, does eStore support any other Paypal APIs that enable on-site checkout?
Thanks,
Wei
hyperinkMemberHi,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I’m using your eStore plugin to sell my products. Each sub-site has its own product (one site per product). I’m using the subdirectory configuration of wordpress, but using a the multisite domain plugin so that each sub-site has its own domain.
My goal is to have one affiliate be able to promote two or more products (that reside on different sub-sites) with just one affiliate id.
Thanks!
Wei
hyperinkMemberJust got this working. Thanks so much for your help!
hyperinkMemberReplaced the “a” tag with a_ so it would show up in the post..
