March 13, 2018 at 10:07 pm in reply to: eStore – Product display- Change Fancy 2 "Price" and "Your price" #77455huotg01Spectator
Thanks admin. It works perfectly.

huotg01SpectatorI have no problem with “coding” the variations. My problem is that I have (too) many products with the same variations, and it is quite difficult to make a modification one by one by coding when there is a price change.
I was looking at least to be able to do it with a “find and replace” mechanism.
Could you give me a hint on what I should look at in the database ?
Thanks
July 18, 2017 at 9:17 pm in reply to: eStore – selling 25 products with 5 "sizes" with different prices #76058huotg01SpectatorMySQL is not flat; it is a relational database, like Oracle, sql server, and all big league players.
July 18, 2017 at 9:10 pm in reply to: Is it possible to interface eStore with "another" gateway ? How ? #76067huotg01SpectatorThanks
As suggested by you, I asked for a quote.
A part of my question was : is it possible, by myself with a guideline tutorial, to build such a gateway (even if I suspect that the answer is no)?

You are right, but if something changes in the “size”, I have to deal with each of the 25 product.
Is there another way of doing it?
Thanks.
July 13, 2017 at 1:46 pm in reply to: eMember – Difference between WordPress Users and eMember Users #75252huotg01SpectatorThanks for this explanation, and “bravo” for your support forum functionalities.
I am a eMember newbie, and I had the exact same “question”. I then decided to write down in the forum a new topic about that question.
When filling the object of my question, I was suggested a few topics already answered, in particular this one…No more need to post a new topic…
Just what I needed!
Thanks.
huotg01SpectatorThanks for your answer.
As previously said, because of its link with Costco, Elavon was simply the best buy for our organisation, financially speaking.
Because it was one of the “largest merchant account providers”, based on https://www.cardpaymentoptions.com/credit-card-processors/elavon-merchant-services-rating-review-complaints/
“Elavon (elavon.com) is one of the largest merchant account providers in the United States. The company was formed from a merger of NOVA Information Systems and euroConex and is part of U.S. Bank’s (U.S. Bancorp’s) payment services division. Elavon is based out of Atlanta, Georgia, and has been active in the credit card processing industry since 1991. Simon Haslam is the CEO of Elavon. “
…I then decided to ask to my eCommerce/eBasket provider if there was a gateway for this solution (Elavon). The answer is no.
I think it is about it.
Thanks.
huotg01SpectatorTo better answer your question, you will find below a more complete reply.
I’m quite new to all that, but it seems that Converge from Elavon is a major player. May I ask you why it is not part of your gateway portfolio (just curious) ?
“Why Choose Elavon?
-Accept credit and debit card payments directly on your site
-Accept eCheck / ACH transactions at checkout NEW
-Display customizer authorization confirmation messages for eCheck transactions
-Customers can securely save their payment method to their account for easier checkout NEW
-Updated payment form at checkout with retina icons and inline validation NEW
-Customers never leave your site during checkout
-Show detailed decline messages at checkout instead of generic orders NEW
-Full Support for WooCommerce Subscriptions NEW
-Full Support for WooCommerce Pre-Orders NEW
-Customers can add saved payment methods to their accounts without going through checkout NEW
-Process refunds and voids automatically from within WooCommerce NEW
-Capture prior authorized transactions right from the WooCommerce edit order screen NEW
-Accepts all Major Credit Cards / Debit Cards – Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, Diner’s Club, JCB
-Supports Multi-Currency to allow transactions in multiple currencies or those different from your account currency NEW
-Simple, Seamless Checkout
Using the Elavon extension allows you to decide what your checkout process will look like, while keeping the customer on your site for the entire process. This gives you maximum control over this experience, providing a simple checkout process for the user and maximum customizability for the business owner.” (from Wooc… web site).
huotg01SpectatorThanks for your answer.
I’m looking at Converge because Elavon has some very good prices and conditions through a Canadian Costco proposal:
– % quite low
– No contract
– and many others advantages
I thought that Elavon had an important presence in the eMarket. I saw that the other guy (Wooc…) was interfacing well with it and wrongly thought that it would be same with eStore, the software I use.
That’s why.

April 2, 2017 at 4:59 pm in reply to: eStore- Collect Instructions on PayPal Checkout Page doesn't show #75383huotg01SpectatorIn fact I dont “log” into the PayPal account because I’m paying with MasterCard.
I’m following the whole process. After paying I’m directed to Paypal who confirms the Payment, and then to the “thank you” page on our web site.

huotg01SpectatorThanks, I bought it.
Would it be possible to add a field to this addon in order to include some instructions, e.g. “If you don’t know your code, please enter 99999” ?
Thanks
huotg01SpectatorThanks
The test page is at the URL [http://paroissebrossard.org/dime-test/]
huotg01SpectatorMy apologies for that. You are right. I was confused with the quantity with the Add button. Anyways, really sorry.
Thank you.
huotg01SpectatorI found this CSS on the Forum:
.eStore_paypal_checkout_button{
margin-top:5px;
padding:4px;
border:1px solid #ccc;
width:800px;
height:120px;
}
It works well.
Now what should be added in the CSS to center the button ?
Thanks.
huotg01SpectatorThanks wzp
I did try changing the .png file, and it worked. My only problem is now to make the button bigger.
Any advice ?
Thanks
