Well, I still have this problem of the site not automatically updating when a person logs in. I can log in an account that is well past the days specified and it never goes to the right week. Is this something I am still missing? For example, if you logged in with your test account made 3 months ago, it will still show the same content that you left off, though the content is set to display many weeks ahead content.
Also, a new problem of the script not doing its job- At the moment it only seems to protect from non-members. However once you log in with any account, all content is accessible, though it’s explicitly set to allow access to different areas on a auto-upgrade basis, though neither feature seems to work correctly.
I am still not sure why it is not fully working correctly. Do you still have your account information to log in?
Thank you.
hknightxMemberSomething to note: YARRP (Yet Another Related Posts Plugin) doesn’t work well with eMember… Not being logged into eMember, I can still view protected content! Usually after 2 views of the protected content, eMember MIGHT block access…
Unless you have a solution to this already (of which I didn’t find with a search in this forum), I would suggest looking into this!
hknightxMemberOk, I send some more description in an email. Thanks
hknightxMemberThanks you guys. It does seem to work fine.. The weeks seem to be right when I changed the subscription date of the test user.
Came across a new problem(s):
– Can’t see what content is being protected, Won’t prevent access from protected content while in the membership, it’s a free for all. None of the settings will save when it comes to preventing access by different memberships. Can’t grant access and can’t prevent access as if user levels cease to exist- Even though it says that the settings were saved (“info updated”)when pushing the “grant access” or “set protection” button in the Managment Content Protection section.
– When I logged to test user, it did not redirect to the assigned place that was defined (i.e. week 3 redirects should redirect to week 3 category but instead went to week 2). It instead went to the prior one. However the week is properly displayed in the user profile. It looks correct in the settings. This problem probably has to with the above problem.
Oddly enough, these 2 problems are new and didn’t exist before the upgrade.
Any new suggestions?
hknightxMemberThank you, I just sent the request in.
hknightxMemberThank you. I understand that.
Well my second account just reached the day after the 7th day today and when I log into eMember with that account, instead of autoupgrading to week 2, It upgrades to Week 4, effectively skipping 2 whole membership levels…
Luckily I don’t have any active members on my site but unfortunately though it seems like it’s set up right with auto-upgrade, it’s not working correctly.
Any suggestions?
