I understand now. In my case, I am using the PDF Stamper with WooCommerce. In WooCommerce, my only payment option is Paypal. Here is why I am considering stamping the IP address vs. the physical address. One: other knowledge developers are doing it with their PDFs. Two: A “black hat” purchaser would not include their real address at checkout, the IP address might give better clues as to where the “black hat” purchase occurred. Three: Yes, the IP address might be meaning less if the purchase was done on holiday, but most purchases will be done from or near home. I look forward to your update and for your consideration in this request.

Can I decide if the IP address is of value? Others are stamping the IP address. Can you just tell me if it is possible to stamp the IP address (yes or no) and if yes, what is the dynamic variable is? Thanx!

I am starting to think that there is no dynamic variable for grabbing the buyer’s IP address and that the developer modified the plugin to grab the IP address. If you send me your email address, I will send you a screenshot of the pdf with the stamped IP address in the footer.
