further update.

by using the PayPal button generator I can re-direct to the WP-Registration page and the user can register. However, Optimize-Member doesnt recognise that the customer is then entitled to the content, presumably because the purchase wasn’t made with an OptimizePress-Member paypal button. as such, membership levels aren’t associated with the new user’s account and they therefore cannot access the restricted content.
