Thanks for your help
gcollignonMemberHi Ivy,
I hope you had a great weekend! Thanks for your response, but how do I do that? Because when I add a new membership level I couldn’t find where to add it free. The registration form only shows one.
Thanks
Gabriel
gcollignonMemberI don’t know why but my wordpress roles are not functioning correctly, Is there something I can do to make them default again? The way they are when you first install wordpress. Maybe in a database or something.
Can you guide me step by step?
Thanks
gcollignonMemberAmin,,, I found a solution.. I created a new role same as the administrator role but with another name and that made me be able to access everything. I don’t know what happened but something in the administrator role didn’t allow me to access plugin settings.
Thank you very much
gcollignonMemberI JUST NOTICED!!!!
I have the same trouble for accessing the setting on the affiliate plugin and the e-store plugin.
In the e-store plugin I can only see the “manage products” menu but other than that nothing.
The affiliate plugin I can’t access anything.
I don’t know what’s happening.
gcollignonMemberHi,, thanks for all your support and help,, I want to tell you that I also tried creating a new admin account, then signing in with that account and going to the settings of the plugin and it shows the same error.
At the moment I only have few members, what happens if I delete the plugin and install it again?
Do you think that might be a solution? Do you think there can be another solution?
gcollignonMemberNo I didn’t do that,, from the beginning I didn’t select the WordPress user integration (that I can remember). I’ve never had an “admin” account because from the beginning that I installed wordpress I did it with my current username and password.
I have your three plugins, how do I post each thread in the forum that belongs to.
gcollignonMemberThis is what I’ve tried so far and hasn’t work at all.
-Sign in with another administrator account
-Deactivate the plugin and activate it again
-Deactivate all plugins that I recently added
-Change password in the account and then login again
-Clear the cache memory
Nothing’s working so far
I appreciate all your help
gcollignonMemberHi Amin, I don’t know if you also made any customizations to the plugin, but now every time I activate the “Enable More Tag Protection” in the settings page it shows this on each post. This didn’t happened before.
Warning: Missing argument 2 for my_more_link() in /home1/akbsolut/public_html/theentrepreneurslounge/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/emember_access_checkers.php on line 2
I appreciate if you can help me solve this.
gcollignonMemberHi Amin, even if I use the original wordpress theme if I use an automatic excerpt generator it doesn’t protect the post.
Any way I’ll just use the custom protection
Thanks!
gcollignonMemberHi Ivy,, the only email I received was a form to access my site, is that it?
Thanks
Gabriel
gcollignonMemberHi Amin,, thanks for your response, but if you take a better look I am talking about posts not pages,, in the home page I am showing my posts and you can see that the two posts
Business – which is protected with [emember_protected for=2-3]
and
Business Development Programs – which is protected as you told me to, from the content management option in the settings menu.
They are showing in the “Home” page and I am not able to see anything using the tag.
Also what you see in the menu bar the Post Categories, those are not pages. So also if you click into the Business Category you’ll see that the protection with the more tag is not working
Thanks
gcollignonMemberIf I am going to have three levels of membership and I’ll be protecting different content, does the plugin tells the visitor something like “this post is only for “Premium” members” can it say what kind of membership you need to access. My concern is what if they subcribe to a membership that does not have access to what they are looking for.
Thanks
gcollignonMembertheentrepreneurslounge.com
You’ll see in the Home page that the posts that are protected are the ones with the title:
Business – which is protected with [emember_protected for=2-3]
Business Development Programs – which is protected as you told me to, from the content management option in the settings menu.
I appreciate if you could take a look, because I don’t want any one to be able to see the blog until it is ready to launch.
Thanks!
gcollignonMemberBTW, I just did it the way you said, from the “manage content protection tab” and instead of being able to see the excerpt it show this – Please Login to view this Content.(Not a member? Join Today!-
