Update – have just found a plugin and updated memory to 256 and that seems to have fixed it on first impressions which is great.

Is there any downside to increasing memory this way?

Thanks Peter – here’s my update…

– I have checked with my host and they say 128M is set by default

– I have enabled logging

– I have viewed the gallery again and still have the empty pages (please note these are not just blank where the image should be but the entire contents of the page below are not visible either)

– This is what the log file has in it:
