MemberOk I tested it again, fully logged in. This time paypal did not time out (stalled after I agreed to payment last time).
The user was logged in. Payment went through. And there was no upgrade. I currently have it set to allow one membership. They had already signed up for the free, were logged in, and purchased the supporter subscription.

MemberWould Paypal timeout if this were the case. That also happened?

Memberunderstood. Thanks again!

MemberYes, I would like it to be a recurring product and be able to extend it by a month or two as needed.
ericgallagher
MemberWill that affect recurring payments?

MemberInteresting… And then it will automatically downgrade to the free level after the upgrade expires?

MemberThat is not what is happening though. I imported all of my users from another membership system (way less attractive). Gave everyone the standard free membership and then added the Supporter membership to the accounts that had paid before. When those supporters log in now it shows Free unless I go in to their account and make ‘Supporter’ their primary membership.
So if their membership level is set to ‘Free’ but ‘Supporter’ is added on to that account it shows up as ‘FREE’ on the widget.
Will it be different if they are FREE and then purchase the upgrade as opposed to me adding it manually?

MemberI did learn if I put something in the excerpt box it does fix it. Am hoping there is a solution where I am not required to do this though!

MemberJust a bump on this. I love the feature, but it looks tacky this way. Thanks for your help.
