Website finally came back up. I tried what you suggested and the token seems to save now. Will continue with setup. Thanks!

OK, I’ll try this as soon as I can. HostGator is having problems today and my website has been down much of the day. Thanks for your help.

    I’m using version 5.5.8.

I just tried changing the cookie life by one day and saved settings. The setting didn’t change. So you’re right, it’s a saving settings problem. Now what?

That seems to have worked. Thank you! I’ll continue with my setup now.

I was having the same problem. After being directed to this link, I found that WordPress Firewall2 seems to be creating the conflict. I deactivated that and was able to activate WPAffiliatesPlatform. But when I reactivated the Firewall, Affiliates went back to behaving in the same way. It doesn’t sign me out of my site, but it does show me the front end of the site when I click on ‘settings.’

To make the plot thicker, I have another site that has both this firewall and the Affiliates platform on it. Both are activated on that site and it’s not having this problem. Both sites are running WP 3.5.1.

On the site where I’m having problems, I can get to the settings screen in Affiliates only if the firewall is deactivated. On the other site, I can get to it even with this firewall activated. I’d like to continue using the firewall if possible. Any suggestions?
