MemberI followed your instructions to get my PayPal IDT token and entered it into the field in Settings > General called “PayPal PDT Identity Token.” I clicked “update options.” I scrolled back up and the code I’d pasted had disappeared.
I tried deactivating all my plugins other than security plugins, but the problem remained. I tried disabling all plugins but when I returned to the WP Affiliate general settings screen, I got this error message (private info removed below):
Warning: get_headers(https://secure.MYWEBSITE.com:443/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates/login.php) [function.get-headers]: failed to open stream: Connection timed out in [PATH TO FILE PARTIALLY DELETED FOR PRIVACY BUT ENDING WITH: wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_aff_utility_functions.php on line 56]
How can I get beyond the error and get this code to save so my purchases made through affiliate links will be tracked?
Thank you.

KeymasterI think you may have an issue with just saving the settings. Do a test for me…. change any other value in your affiliate plugin settings then hit the “save” button. Did the change you make update/save correctly?
What version of the plugin are using?

MemberI’m using version 5.5.8.
I just tried changing the cookie life by one day and saved settings. The setting didn’t change. So you’re right, it’s a saving settings problem. Now what?

KeymasterFirst, lets try loading a fresh copy of the plugin. Do the following:

MemberOK, I’ll try this as soon as I can. HostGator is having problems today and my website has been down much of the day. Thanks for your help.

MemberWebsite finally came back up. I tried what you suggested and the token seems to save now. Will continue with setup. Thanks!
