I should clarify….my credit token option works with the shortcode on an individual post/page.
I haven’t been able to get it to work on this php template. I need to use a similar PHP code as you and I have come up with for the Buy Now option….

Am I pushing my luck to try and get an Add to Cart option? or Pay with Credit Tokens option? Or would I just format them both in a similar way?
My credit token option works great now, but I use the shortcode … Is there a php option?
And I’m guessing there’s already a php way for me to do add to cart, right? Did I miss this in the shortcode/php PDF?

Okay that sounds perfect…when you say “call the generate_download_link() with the product id” can you tell me the way I format that? I’m guessing I don’t use a shortcode do I?
I’m hoping I can put that in the sidebar? If not, I’ll just put in the body of the post…

So, the user will open the page …
– the protected content will not be shown (since they’re on a different device)
– but, they can tap the new link button which will make a link they can go to
Right now, if I put the generate link shortcode on a page it shows a list of all purchases with a button on the right to generate a new link. I want only the product that the user is viewing to be there instead of the whole list.
Can you tell me where I can edit the code to do this? I think I need to know where the code is that makes the table, that way I should be able to make it show just the one particular product link and button.
Okay that might work…is it possible to just have the user request the link just for that particular product?
For instance, let’s say the user needs to regenerate a link for Product 123 and he is on the 123post page.
Can I somehow have the link generator generate the link for just this particular product, instead of having the whole list of their purchases?
Do you know what I mean?
As a follow-up…another post here in the forum asks for an idea similar to mine. This was from a year or 2 ago, this was the mod’s reply:
“I suppose, that if you really wanted to, and if you consider yourself a competent programmer, who enjoys “running with scissors,” you might be able to manually query the product database, grab the thumbnail URL for a particular product, along with the product URL, and then call the code that generates the encrypted URL. You could then display the encrypted URL, along with the thumbnail and whatever else you got from the product database. And since (I think) you wanted to have non-expiring links, then you might as well not even encrypt the product URL.”

So going with the theory above….where can I find the “code that generates the encrypted URL” … I,too, won’t need an expiring link or even encrypted. Hoping this May help with your answer?
*PLEASE NOTE: To Admin – I did read your post(s) in its entirety several times, and that’s why I posted a screenshot so you could see that I had the code correct. However, we now know the problem was not the code, it was that the updated version of the shortcodes was a cached copy…so no matter how I put the link in, it wasn’t going to work.
To anyone else that is having this problem…from the paragraph above you see why it was not working.
So, if you’re having the same problem, be sure that you are indeed getting the updated version. I had no way of telling that was my problem, until admin looked at my site and sent me an email with the new update.
hi there – thanks for the info, but when I follow your link above it takes me to the post and instructions from a year ago. I think downloaded the “updated” extra shortcodes but the PDF doesn’t seem much different than what I had before.
I’m going to compare code by code now and see if I missed anything…Can you tell me what date you released the new version?
I need a text link to display the users shopping cart and I need a buy now text link…both for CCBill. That’s what I’m trying to get…

Yes, I tried “http://www.MYDOMAIN.com/?wp_eStore_buy_now=1” and it keeps taking me to the Paypal pymt page….not CCBill
Any other ideas?

Is it possible to force a download to mobile devices? For instance can we prompt the user to auto install an .apk file for android devices? Or an html file for web capable apps? Pls advise on procedure if so. My files are also stored on S3 and each product has its own post and protected download button.

BUT…I’m hoping you can help me! Once my users have their credits, I don’t want to show them the dollar value price of an item, I just want them to see the credit cost.
Have you figured out how to do this? I sent an email so waiting to hear back, but thought I’d ask since I was posting anyway!
