I am in the process of setting up eMember and the Credit Tokens add-on at BundleoftheWeek.com, but when I try to checkout with my test account, which currently has 11 credits available, the option to pay with credits is not showing up; only the Paypal checkout button appears.
I’ve ensured that the product settings show that the product can be purchased for 1 token.
I’ve manually added credits AND purchased credits with the account.
I’ve tried the cart shortcode in the widget and on its own separate page.
Any suggestions? Is there another setting somewhere I’m missing?
August 26, 2013 at 1:51 am #57423PeterMemberWhich version of the Credit Token Addon are you using?
Which version of eStore are you using?
August 26, 2013 at 1:57 pm #57424mandiehmanMemberVersion 1.7 of the credit token add-on
Version 6.9.1.7 of the eStore
Thanks!
August 27, 2013 at 12:27 am #57425PeterMemberCan you please load a fresh new updated version of eStore just in case this might be the cause.
Did you enable the credit token checkout option in the addon settings?
August 27, 2013 at 5:01 pm #57426mandiehmanMemberThat did it — thank you!
August 27, 2013 at 5:16 pm #57427mandiehmanMemberActually, I have another question now that I see how it works. I don’t *need* the “add to cart” function because we only sell one product at a time. Is there a shortcode or URL I can use to just offer the option to buy product #X with credits without having to add it to their cart first?
So there’d be two buttons on the page: Buy Now or Buy with Credits
Also, is there an easy way to customize the eStore confirmation message page (You are just about to make a purchase using your credits. blah, blah, blah), or would I need to contact Ruhul about custom development work for that?
Thanks!
August 27, 2013 at 10:33 pm #57428ellie123Memberhi there – I think I found a post that can help you with customizing the text:
BUT…I’m hoping you can help me! Once my users have their credits, I don’t want to show them the dollar value price of an item, I just want them to see the credit cost.
Have you figured out how to do this? I sent an email so waiting to hear back, but thought I’d ask since I was posting anyway!
Good luck!
Ellie
August 28, 2013 at 11:23 am #57429mandiehmanMemberHi Ellie! There is an option on the Settings page of the Credit Add-On that lets you check a box to only allow users to check out with credits. I don’t know if that means you’d need to have separate cash and credit products, but that might be a place to start!
And thank you for that link — that will actually help me with a lot of things!
August 28, 2013 at 4:24 pm #57430ellie123MemberOh no! So I was SO SUPER EXCITED to see your post…and then totally friggin deflated when I realized that I DO NOT have that option…LOL.
See my screenshot here of my settings page:http://matrixcreativedesigns.com/credit.jpg
WP Estore > Credit Manager > General Settings … Did you follow another path? Wondering if maybe I missed an update? I just bought the damn thing less than 2 weeks ago, though.
Pls look at my screenie and let me know if I’m nuts…thanks so much. So happy somebody else on here using this…my email is [maxwellellie@gmail.com].
August 28, 2013 at 5:02 pm #57431mandiehmanMemberYep, that option is on that page for me. You may need to request a new copy of the plugin and try reinstalling it to see if that helps.
August 28, 2013 at 5:25 pm #57432ellie123MemberCan you email me? Pls? [Maxwellellie@gmail.com] When you get a chance…
Want to compare notes…thanks
August 28, 2013 at 7:36 pm #57433mandiehmanMemberI’m sorry, Ellie — I’m under some fairly tight deadlines right now and probably won’t have a chance to. I’d start a thread here so others can chime in as well, and I’ll do my best to respond as well while I’m checking for updates to my issues.
August 29, 2013 at 3:57 pm #57434ellie123MemberCan you pls just tell me the version # of the software that you have then pls? (I feel bad having everyone read this convo when it has nothing to do with them….my apologies).
If you can just tell me what version, I can compare the version I have and see if that is my problem.
Sorry to bother you,
Thank you
