Thanks Admin,
I lost a post here somewhere, so here goes again.
I looked at the .php file but it would be helpful if I knew what “code” inside I need to change to accomplish the following:
Remove the line:
God’s EPIC Adventure by Winn Griffin @
http://harmonpress.com/bookstore/
What part of the .php code corresponds to:
God’s EPIC Adventure by Winn Griffin
The body text: “You sit down to read…”
The price
The button
Second, when I use a shortcode with the boxed image, the image get’s cut off top and bottom. So, what size image should be used to get it to fit into the box without it being clipped?
Third, can I use the preset setup [wp_eStore_fancy1_no_thumbnail id=9] as a fancy2?
Thanks,
drwinnMemberPeter,
Thanks for the suggestion. That is what I am already doing and the shortcodes that are listed in the post above are from the newest shortcodes with the newest plugin.
My hope was to be able to have a shortcode(s) that I could use in different spots without having to create a complete post/page for other places that I would like to stick the product, so I would only have one place to correct any item in the future instead of everyplace I put it.
Thanks again.
drwinnMemberOkay, I’m embarrassed. I was looking for the words in all the wrong places.
Thanks for your patience.
drwinnMemberThe problem is that “Your cart is empty” is not in the eng.php file. It reads:
define(“ESTORE_CART_EMPTY”, “Shopping Cart is Empty”);
I changed the second argument and there was no change. I changed the second argument in the next line to read “Go to Harmon Press Bookstore” and that worked perfectly well.
Yes, I see the information provided with the short code replaced with the cart and a reverse of that when I clear the cart. Again, the problem is the line: Your cart is Empty” which I can’t seem to find anywhere that appears in the cart. I tried it on a different machine with the same results, so it doesn’t appear to be a caching problem.
drwinnMemberT&T Shopping Cart reads in sidebar
Your Shopping Cart
graphic man pushing buggy with “Shopping Cart Empty” in fly out
Shopping Cart is Empty
Visit The Shop
Harmon Press site using [wp_eStore_cart] in sidbar
It reads:
Your Shopping Cart
graphic man pushing buggy with Shopping Cart in fly out
Items in Your Cart
Your cart is empty
Go To Harmon Press Bookstore
When something is added to the shopping cart the man with buggy stays with the same fly out, “shopping cart.”
graphic man stays the same when shopping cart is activated on Harmon Press
graphic man disappears in sidebar on T&T and a different graphic appears on the shopping cart named shopping_cart_icon.gif
Two Questions: How do I match the action of the cart and the graphic of man with shopping cart (empty_cart.jpg) disappears as it does on the T&T site.
Second, Where is the text “Your Cart is empty” coming from. It is not in the Widget which only has [wp_eStore_cart].
Here is one page with shopping cart activated for sale items.
I not sure at this point that I am clear, but there is is for the time being.
drwinnMemberCan you change Visit the Shop to something different?
drwinnMemberI figured it out with [wp_eStore_cart]. Can you change the graphic in this call?
drwinnMemberThanks Ivy. I have emailed you with the link.
Can you also respond to the ‘ difficulty. This happened when I stamped a smaller file with the name God’s EPIC… it came out stamped God’s EPIC.
Just wondering if there is a fix for that.
Thanks
Winn
drwinnMemberIt is a file that I created from Adobe PM7 in 2007. I created it using a postscript file and then used Adobe distiller (PDF/X-1a:2001) to create the file for POD purposes. Will Admin respond to the ‘ issue here or somewhere else?
drwinnMemberBy “complex” you mean?
BTW: I get a in some stamps like God’s instead of God’s. How can I clear this up?
Thanks
drwinnMemberA smaller file works. I have tried the memory increase all the way up to 704M. The allocated in the above figure, i.e., 493943 reduced to 407, but it still timed out. The file size is just about 12 MB. I checked the file from it’s location (i.e., URL) and it downloads. I checked the file internally. There is nothing internally, i.e., password, etc. that is set. It’s completely open. I am not all that familiar with how the PHP.ini file works in the case of memory, so I not sure how high I can our should go without offending the ISP.
The particular file, (12 MG) is to date the largest file that I would be stamping, most are around 6-7 MB.
BTW, when manual stamping the file is returned to the stamped folder changed from …request.pdf to request_4d751612de1c3.pdf. I understand the addition of the numeric coding, so, does that file name/link sent to a customer have a dropdead time or is it open forever.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
drwinnMemberThe saga continues. HostGator tech support gave me incorrect information. Have increased the execution time from 30 t0 60 sec with the following results when trying to manually stamp.
An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 67108864) (tried to allocate 493943 bytes) in /home/harmonpr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/lib/fpdi/pdf_context.php on line 0
What to do?
drwinnMemberI deactivated the plug in and activated it again and put the same PDF Stamper ID and it validated. Go figure.
However, in trying to manual stamp a PDF I get a time out problem. Reading around on the site I discovered that the PHP.ini script needs to be increased to 60 seconds from 30 seconds. However, my service provider (HostGator) tells me that with my account, they can not increase up the execution time form 30 to 60 seconds (company policy) unless I change to a different server plan at, you guessed it, and increased monthly payment. Are there any other work arounds?
Sorry about two posts!
