Thank you for your reply. I had already done what you suggested above, however I was asking this because the eStore plugin version number specified on the landing page is 7.3.6, while the downloaded (and installed) version is actually 7.3.8.

So I was wondering where the actual version is written in the php code of the plugin.

Hello, just completed the automatic update request for eStore plugin and it worked just fine. However I cannot find anywere where the plugin version is written to compare it with the version I have already installed.
