eStore – Changing thumbnail of product accordingly with custom variation

Hello,

let’s assume I’ve got two types of t-shirt I’m selling and they are available in two colors: black and white (with a specific variation set for that purpose).

Is there a way to change the thumbnail of the t-shirt accordingly with the customer’s chosen option?

I really need for this option, even a workaround or customization of the code would be fine.

There is an “Additional Product Images” field under “Additional Product Details.” When the lightbox is displayed, the additional images can be shown:

Other than that, there is currently no way to dynamically change the image according to what variation is selected.

How do I “fit” my product image into the box on the add-to-cart button image display…something like your cart looks at “Tips and Tricks”?

Do l need to”edit” my image size…scale down the image?

I also want my image to “enlarge” when it is clicked for display or for a closer look (zoom). How do I get nice looking images in the product display template?

We use the lightbox option of the plugin on our site. You can enable this option by going to eStore settings and checking the “Enable Lightbox effect on Images” option.

If you share a URL of the page where you have the product, I will be able to inspect it and understand your situation better.
