Another question.
The Terms and Conditions are the same for all fisheries but the rules are slightly different.
In WP-wStore it appears that the terms and conditions URL is global, so how can I accommodate this? Is it possible to have individual T&Cs for each product?
That would be ideal for us.

Thanks

Conrad FarlowMemberI am using simple-press and no I am not using a caching program. Simple-press uses the WP login to detect whether a user is logged in or not. There is a disparity between the widget log in status and the actuality of whether a member is logged into word press or not.
You can test this out at http://abftest.co.uk there is a log in that I provided using the form on the 2nd April, if you no longer have it please email me.

Conrad FarlowMemberOh how terribly embarrassing, don’t know how I missed that! I must have seen it when I first set things up and then promptly forgot!
I really am getting older…………

Conrad FarlowMemberCan you define ‘a very long time’? I’d like the option of allowing people to stay logged in indefinitely.

Try to consider me to be of medium ability not a complete numpty I just type too fast and don’t proof read too well. Usually because I up far too late messing around with websites, something I am sure many of us are familiar with
Perhaps I can see what is actually being called by using Firebug? For some reason the logout link is not working as it should. As it is a physical URL that is definitely functional I don’t really understand why. Where are the settings data stored? In particular the “After Logout Page”?
Could it be that there are some settings ‘remnants’ from the fact that I ‘cloned’ the second site from the first site and then just updated wp-config to use the right DB prefix? I did this because I wanted the same theme and plugins as a starting point. I have also modified certain aspects of the eMember plugin, only related to styles and text output in the eng.php file and nothing that could cause this. Also in case you have any doubts can I remind you that First site works perfectly well using the very same modified file.

http://www.2nd_site.com/member-login/
If I copy and paste the value into the browser address bar the page works fine. So something is causing that value to be ignored? I have always filled that value in the past; I presume that leaving it blank causes the wordpress login to be displayed? That is what is happening.
March 31, 2012 at 3:11 am in reply to: 2 WP installations with common log-in :- 2nd site problems. #43561Conrad FarlowMemberHello.
Yes the login works perfectly, it is only logout redirection on the 2nd site. All I really want to do is share a set of users on 2 different sites. I would be quite happy if they were only able to register on the 1st site but I do need content protection on the 2nd and I do need the 2 sites to have the same set of members.
Independent logging in and out would be fine by me.

Conrad FarlowMemberPerfect, thanks very much.
Conrad FarlowMemberBy the way why does
Code:not work? How did you format the code insert above?
Conrad FarlowMemberHi I knew that I could do that for that line but if I do then the subsequent My Secure RSS and Edit Profile hyperlinks are not formatted correctly. If I add paragraph tags to all three of these lines then the links appear with large vertical spaces in between. If I add the <p> tag to line 280 as you have suggested above but do not add the </p> tag then the display is exactly as I want it.
All I want to do is add some vertical space to the start of this block of hyperlinks. So how would I do that immediately above line 280. As memberships never expire on my site I have commented out lines 272-279.
I tried to add a line break tag to the beginning of line 280 but don’t know and could not figure out the correct syntax. I couldn’t find an example where this had been done before a hyperlink in the code.
While I have a solution I don’t like it because I know it is what we call a ‘bodge’ in the UK.

Conrad
