    Hi.

I have got all my WP eMember settings working perfectly on a test site. I have saved any files that I have customised so that these can be put on the live site but I wondered if their was a way to transfer everything including the configuration and various emails.

I assume that some of the data will be written to files in the plugin folder and some to files in the database.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

    Great plug-in by the way.

    Regards

    Conrad

    1. Copy the eMember plugin files from your test site and upload it to your new site then activate it.

    2. Export the plugin’s database table content from the test site and import them in the new site. This video might come in handy:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-easily-import-or-export-any-of-your-wordpress-database-content-using-phpmyadmin-3415

This 2nd step will transfer all the members and membership level data

    3. Export the value of the following column from the “wp_options” table and import it into the new site’s “wp_options” table:

    eMember_configs

This 3rd step will import your eMember settings that you saved in the old site. You may need to update a few things like the URL values to various pages and stuff. Worst case scenerio… reconfigure the settings options (its mostly check this and check that then save)

That’s great, I will do this tonight.
