I will answer you privately.
Cheryl RogersMemberMy files are not on my website and my files have not sold, yet my statistics show they have been viewed. I continue to be perplexed. I have used this system before without incident.
May 21, 2011 at 3:49 pm in reply to: Calling "Add to Cart" externally (adding product via a URL) #31747Cheryl RogersMemberI have a similar issue. I have a landing page on my website outside of the WordPress installation. If I upload the page INTO the WordPress installation, can I add the estore add to cart button to that page enabling it to work with the Wp Affiliate software? (This is an HTML page prepared in Adobe GoLive.)
I tried a template to strip the sidebars off the WordPress page to see if this would enable me to recreate the landing page. But when I stripped off the sidebars, fancy2 stretches across the page. Maybe a column would resolve this, but I’m still having trouble renaming the WP permalinks (even though I found a great plugin for this). It must be the PHP 4…
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Cheryl RogersMemberThanks for taking a look.

Some player is playing it.
Cheryl RogersMemberMeant to say I do not have php5.
Cheryl RogersMemberI have added the code but see no change. The text link to the song plays the song, but the player (with the same link) says the song cannot be found, or that it is buffering…continually. I do not have php, if it matters. Thanks for what ever you can do.
Cheryl RogersMemberI am wondering if the problem has something to do with the audio player not being compatible with the newer versions of WordPress. I can’t get the fancy display to work right unless I use the Audio Player plugin and then the music won’t play (when it would play with other audio players). Is there a fix for this? Can it work with audio players compatible with wp 3.1.2? I would prefer to use fancy display 8, but 7 is okay too.
Thanks.
Cheryl RogersMemberIt is working! Thank you so much. I did not have the 0 in the “Item Specific Tax” field for the individual product. I also redid the original fix relocating the // in the eStore_payment_submission.php, turned off Profile based shipping, and took out the zeros in Item Shipping Cost and Weight. The affiliate program also credited commission on the text sale. THANKS!
Cheryl RogersMemberOkay, so I got the rebuild, uploaded it to my site, and deactivated and reactivated it. I have tried it with Profile Based Shipping turned on and off in eStore. It wants to charge me both tax and shipping either way! The shipping amount is not based on my pre-configured flat rate, so it must be Paypal’s minimum rate or something.
I did put in 0.00 for shipping cost in my product. When I tried using 0, it didn’t hold.
Thanks for whatever you can do!
Cheryl RogersMemberThank you so much! I have put a request in for the updated plugin.
Cheryl RogersMemberI spoke with a Paypal representative, who said if the Add to Cart button is made in Paypal, all I would need to do is put in a 0 for the tax to override the Paypal Profile Based Shipping specifications for that button. If the button is made by your plugin, they said I would have to get with you about that…
So hopefully this does not mean I would have to make the buttons in Paypal, as I was hoping to avoid that step in the setup process.
Thanks.
Cheryl RogersMemberHi,
I attempted two different test checkouts, one for .15 and one for 2.99 and it is ready to charge me Florida sales tax on digital products. So that must mean the profile is still not completely off! There is no tax on digital products in Florida. Is there a way to fix this? I can do the tax manually on any physical products, if necessary. Thanks.
Cheryl RogersMemberLooks like this will work. Changed the code but don’t have time to try test cherckout through WP Affiliate right now. Will get back later. Thanks!
Cheryl RogersMemberI am using the profile based shipping profile in Paypal for some physical products elsewhere on my site. I really don’t want to turn the profile based shipping off within paypal! Here is the link where the products are set up:

Please let me know what I can do. Thanks.
Cheryl RogersMemberYour plugin is beautiful and I am looking forward to getting my shop open. I have encountered a problem, however, because I want to sell both digital and physical products.
I decided to turn off the Paypal Profile Shipping Settings because I didn’t know how to configure my current Paypal service (basic web payment) for both the digital and physical products. But guess what? After I get over to the Paypal login window, when I click on calculate tax, it STILL adds in the shipping and tax I have configured in Paypal. So apparently it would charge customers extra shipping for downloads as well as tax, when tax is not levied on digital downloads. Wondering why the Paypal Profile is not OFF? I have unclicked it in “Use Paypal Profile Based Shipping.” I have PHP 4. Do I need another workaround?
Thanks.
