hi, thanks for that… can you please let me know how to add the automatic emails? I’m not sure how to do this. if it’s a piece of code to add please just let me know where to add it and I can do.

Paymate is useless with their support and doesn’t give any instructions on how to use their POST script… frustration plus!!!

The model I had in mind is that after a customer pays for a membership using the “Manual Checkout” you will manually create a member account from the “eMember dashboard” and let the customer know.”

Is there any way that this can automatically insert them as a member? for what I need to happen it would be much easier for them to be automatically inserted and then I could just make them inactive if the money doesn’t come through.

Update: Found out that there is a setting in the manual checkout area to enable this. I checked the “Automatically Update Customer & Products Database” option in the manual gateway settings and it is working the way I wanted it.

I found how to change from “This content is for members only” to “Please Login to view this Content.(Not a member? Join Today!)” BUT when I click please login it won’t bring up the login form on the page.

Hi Ivy,

thanks I got your email and did the update. It’s now hotlinked but takes you to the join now page and doesn’t return you if you login. Maybe I better explain better.

What I would really like to do is for the ‘section protect’ area on a page to say

Please Login to view this Content.(Not a member? Join Today!)

NOT This content is for members only. – but I don’t know how to change this. I’d like them to have the option to either login or join now because I’m only using pages there would only be this written once.

Hi Ivy,

the site is in maintenance mode at the moment so isn’t showing up live. I have version 4.9.6 and definitely have the option unchecked.

also when a page is protected it gives this message Please Login to view this Content.(Not a member? Join Today!) but the login and join today are not hotlinked? how do I make this happen.

Hi there, I’m trying to get this to happen on my site, however when you click ‘login to view content’ and then login it just takes you to the page that says

You are logged in as: joanne

Your membership level is: xxxx

# Logout

# Edit Profile

what am I missing?

hey thanks so much for your guidance, yes they do POST the payment data back to the site.

I’ll have a go with following the script and let you know how I go in case there are any other people that need this help.

hi thanks for that. I don’t know if they have an IPN they have the ability to send you back to the website to complete the process but there isn’t a script for an IPN so to speak.

what would i need to hook this all up?
