Hi there,
I’ve noticed that when I add a member via the admin area that no email is sent to them with their username and password. This would seem like a very important thing that needs to happen so that they have a record of their access details.
Also having big problems trying to work out an IPN for Paymate gateway that allows automated entry as a member – is there anyway that I can set up a page that directs my customer to after they pay for their goods that displays them with a form that they can create a username and password at?
I’ve tried just about everything and am not clever enough to make this happen.
am happy to pay anyone that knows how to do this or can point me in the right direction.
Unfortunately my client only wants to use Paymate and they seem useless at providing any assistance.
thanks

Regarding the PayMate Payment Gateway, I had a look at PayMate’s help page and looks like they don’t have an Instant Payment Notification (IPN) feature like PayPal or 2Checkout. So the post payment processing will have to be handled differently.
Do you know their suggested way of verifying the POST payment data in our handling script?
April 8, 2010 at 12:25 am #19436carlyblackMemberhi, thanks for that… can you please let me know how to add the automatic emails? I’m not sure how to do this. if it’s a piece of code to add please just let me know where to add it and I can do.
Paymate is useless with their support and doesn’t give any instructions on how to use their POST script… frustration plus!!!

September 6, 2011 at 2:14 pm #19438tomboyMemberHi admin007,
I had a few questions on the comments at pdf stamper sales page. I think here ist the best place to discuss further.
I need something for WP eStore with PDF Stamper like you did for eMember regarding the post obove.
After a buy using the manual checkout gateway from eStore the customer is in the list of cusotmers but if I disable “Send Product Download Links in the Email ” because I dont want to give the product away bevor I received the money, I have to do several manuel steps with much effort to deliver the stamped eBook, after the payment.
So I need a similar feature, like mentioned above. The customer is already there but I need a button where I can tell eStore that the money arrived and eStore can stamp the PDF with the details form the customer, already in the list of customers, and send automatically the encrypted donwload link to the customer.
Without this feature i have to stamp the file, edit the footer text every time with the customer details, have to change the password to the mailaddress of the customer or use one fixed password, stamp the file, download the file, type a mail and attache the stamped PDF. Maybe I can search for a email tool to send mails from the backend with attachements from the server, to have a little bit less work.
It would be great If you can add such feature.
Thank you a lot.
One further question:
I receive this warning under settings – digital product delivery settings:
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(../../../downloads/download.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/www/htdocs/w00c8c23/:/tmp:/usr/bin:/www/htdocs/w00c8c23:/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/share/php) in /www/htdocs/w00c8c23/mehrelterngeld.de/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/wp_digi_cart_admin_menu.php on line 1224
As I can see the sales process works although this warning is displayed. My Host told me to ask the developer from the plugin.
Can you give me a hint here too?
September 7, 2011 at 7:22 am #19439adminKeymasterI get what you mean but from an implementation point of view its not that simple since PDF stamper is a separate plugin. Some custom development work is needed to facilitate a process like that. If you are interested then contact us here and mention this forum post then we can discuss a possible custom solution work:

Regarding your other error that you get… I have a feeling you changed the value of the “Download Validation Script Location” field even though the help text tells you not to (obviously, your server cannot handle this). Reset the value of that field following this instruction:
September 7, 2011 at 7:05 pm #19440tomboyMemberThank you for your reply.
I will have a look, how many people use the manual checkout, yesterday for example two used this feature, and I am afraid getting the money and have this many clicks. One time I missed something, the customer was not able to open the document, any other password was used… I donĀ“t knew.
Second question:
I changed the location, yes, but the warning is there also with the default settings. But never mind, as long the process run, I will ignore the warning. I thought mybe you have an idea and I can fix this.
I will contact the support in a few days after being frustrated from the manual checkout…
Thanks a lot.
