eMember + eStore + affiliate – kombi-pack
When a customer pays with the manual checkout (eStore-Plugin) and completes the order, then:
1) Buyer gets email with bank transfer data
2) Buyer transfers $$$$
3) Seller gets $$$$
… What’s next?
Do I setup the member manually and create a username for him/her?
Or can I send a registration link manually?
The username can’t be changed!? The Password is no Problem!
When and how does the affiliate plattform get the information about that payment?
Thanks a lot!
At all I’m very happy about your plugins. They work perfect!
February 9, 2010 at 1:05 pm #17869thomasMemberAffiliate gets counted when Buyer completes order (after filling in his/her contact information).
What happens when the buyer never transfers the money. I cant’t find a way to change the commission for the affiliate!

Check this post which will explains how you can best handle manual checkout:
You can also manually create a member account from the “eMember dashboard” and let the customer know after a manual checkout.
What username to use for the member as it can’t be changed later? You can instruct the customer that he/she can enter the preferred username in the “Additional Comment” section when filling out the details on the “Manual Checkout” form.
The other option is to contact the customer to ask for his/her chosen username before creating the account. The manual payment transfer process will most likely involve a few email going back and forth between you and the customer. Somewhere in there you can ask for his/her chosen username.
February 10, 2010 at 8:18 am #17871thomasMemberI know, to do something manually in online sales is not the “goal”.
But some of my prospects are scared about online-payment.
Anyway, your registration folw makes a lot of sense and I’ll use it.
Thanks for reply!!

The model I had in mind is that after a customer pays for a membership using the “Manual Checkout” you will manually create a member account from the “eMember dashboard” and let the customer know.”
Is there any way that this can automatically insert them as a member? for what I need to happen it would be much easier for them to be automatically inserted and then I could just make them inactive if the money doesn’t come through.
Looking forward to any help thank you
Update: Found out that there is a setting in the manual checkout area to enable this. I checked the “Automatically Update Customer & Products Database” option in the manual gateway settings and it is working the way I wanted it.
