Awesome! Thank you so much! It seems to be working correctly now. The specific issues I was having seem to be corrected. Direct downloads are back, I can edit existing products and add new ones.
I really appreciate this!
I will only be one day late in getting our coupons out but it’s worth it for the peace of mind and knowing you good folks get in there and get the job done! Thank you!
Happy holidays!

briandavidphillipsSpectatorWhen I added and when I modified products, the message was that the product was created (but it does not appear anywhere in the product management thingie) and that the modified product was saved (but the changes to not appear in the management thingie). So, it says it works but it obviously doesn’t.

briandavidphillipsSpectatorI just tried adding a new product and it did not work.
I also tried modifying an existing product and the changes did not save.
I am still getting new members and affiliates for those products okay, it’s only the estore that is problematic at this time (as far as I can tell).

briandavidphillipsSpectatorWhen I try creating a link through the admin functions for the products in question, I get the same error:
“The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
Please tell the site administrator the problem was due to the following reason:
The download link (see browser address bar) couldn’t be found in the wp_eStore database.”
So, it seems to be the plugin and how it’s assigning and processing the encrypted links.
Help please.
Sorry, I have no clue how to debug or inspect code or anything like that (I’m doing really well just to upgrade the plugins, more beginner than intermediate or advanced user).

briandavidphillipsSpectatorI am getting the same error with download links:
“The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
Please tell the site administrator the problem was due to the following reason:
The download link (see browser address bar) couldn’t be found in the wp_eStore database.”
The amazon direct links to my files work fine so it’s the encryption thingie that is off.
One URL is showing http://briandavidphillips.net/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=3VzX%2FikBVvCWh6nvgg%3D%3D and the other shows http://briandavidphillips.net/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=3V7X%2FikBVvCWh6rshA%3D%3D which I assume are supposed to be the encrypted links but they are not working (although the original unencrypted links within the store are fine).
I updated to wordpress 3.3 and then upgraded my plugins yesterday to newest versions (according to the upgrade system here):
WP eStore v6.2.7
WP eMember v7.4.7
WP Affiliate Platform v4.9.9.1
I had been getting a login error after WP 3.3 upgrade but that disappeared after upgrading plugins but now I have the download error which is much much worse as with the login thing my clients could simply hit back then reload and they were logged in. But with no downloads working I can’t sell product and we just added holiday coupons we really needed to send out today! Otherwise everything loses timeliness and can’t afford to lose the seasonal sales.

briandavidphillipsSpectatorNo, no favorite at the moment, just looking into it . . . the ones I’ve found are based on commenting to a single post (the contest post) but I was hoping to have something that tallied all comments on the site as that more authentically encourages site participation. The post-comment tally only to the contest specific post just encourages folks to post to that one page but ignores the rest of the site which can encourage comment-and-run behavior rather than genuine participation.
It’s not a priority, but we thought it would be a nice way to genuinely encourage participation and your plugin suite seemed a neat way to perhaps allow membership-level specific contests as well.
No biggie.
Thanks.

briandavidphillipsSpectatorSorry for the doublepost, net screwup.
