Hi, thank you for your response.
It has helped me troubleshoot what has caused this. The problem only occurs when I have the “prettyPhoto” and “WP Lightbox Special” activated at the same time.
I do need both these features to display different content, so is there anything I can amend to ensure that everything will work in IE9 if I have both of these effects enabled on the plugin.

Just to add to this, I’m not sure if you solved this problem but I was able to get around it using CSS. I basically have two links to the document on the webpage. I then use CSS to only show the ‘Lightbox’ link when it is viewed on a normal computer screen. I also have another CSS stylesheet for mobile devices which hides the Lightbox link and just displays the normal PDF link. When the user views the page on the iphone they only see the normal PDF link which just opens up a new page for the PDF.
I’m not sure of your coding ability but if you do want any help just ask.
