Hi. The short WP User short code doesn’t seem to work. I’m trying to add a button for the PDF. When I substitute the URL, paste the short code onto my page, and click the Download button, I get the error message:

Error! Message: Cannot open… ! Error Code: 1An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!

Plus there seems to be something wrong with the short code itself, insofar as the button, instead of reading DOWNLOAD NOW, simply reads “DOWNLOAD — with one set of quotation marks on the left. Can you fix or let me know how to proceed?
