Okay so I have found the Receipt creator addon and installed it. However it does not appear to have the ability to generate a receipt after the fact for a purchase that was already made.
This seems to be a very long development cycle on the taxamo addon. I am running into difficulty with a customer from the EU. Because I am selling from a non EU country B2B I do not (thankfully!) have to collect VAT, but the customer is supposed to receive an invoice with his VAT # printed on it. I don’t see anywhere in the settings an option for him to enter a VAT# – even in the addons mentioned here I don’t see any option to enter the VAT #. Also there is no option to print an invoice (on my end or the client’s)
Okay, I have activated the options indicated in the article above – it also explains how to import WordPress users into WP eMember, but how do I get my existing WP eMember members into WordPress users?
I guess nothing ever came of this? I am looking (without success) for a support ticket system that will work with eMember/eStore.
That wouldn’t work. The base price of $75 should still be discounted in the base + install scenario. i.e. product alone – $75 less 40% = $45. Product $75 less 40% = $45 + $75 installation = $120. Installation is only applicable if they are purchasing the product – and it is my understanding that the only way to do that is with a variation, you don’t have an “addon product” functionality.
If I had only one product price, I could do a $30 discount and then everyone would be happy. But because I have other products that are $95, their 40% discount would be $38 – and I can’t make that work in any automated way. I can’t expect the buyer to follow “if you are purchasing product 1, 2 or 3 enter coupon code SAVE30, if you are purchasing product 4, 5, or 6 enter coupon code SAVE38” It needs to be easy for them.
