eTicket plugin to run with eMember??

Hi again!

Okay, so I had a client who wanted to offer a premium support ticket system incorporated into their current eMember platform.

1. Do you currently offer any type of Ticket system as a plugin?

I didn’t see one… and this client is up my you know what…. so I began writing one. I gotta say, this thing is amazing! Thank you for making the php conditions for checking if member is logged in, etc.

Now.. I have this pretty amazing ticket system (custom post types as tickets, admin section for managing tickets, front-end ticket submission and status pages).

It is not yet complete.. but it is getting close. I wanted to double-check to see if this is a feature you guys offer… or plan to offer in the future.

Hi, eMember doesn’t have any built-in ticket system at the moment. However, you might be able to achieve something similar by integrating eMember with bbPress forum plugin: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-and-bbpress-forum-plugin-integration-644

I had already come across that in my travels. BBPress is great, I’m sure. But, adding more ‘bulk’ in order to achieve this feature was very undesirable by the client. However, thank you very much for the suggestion!

I guess nothing ever came of this? I am looking (without success) for a support ticket system that will work with eMember/eStore.

We prefer to use bbPress forum for handling support. eMember has a bbPress integration:

You can use any support plugin that works with WP users. eMember can integrate with that by usign the following feature:

Okay, I have activated the options indicated in the article above – it also explains how to import WordPress users into WP eMember, but how do I get my existing WP eMember members into WordPress users?

Go to the following interface of eMember and read the help text in that section (it should help you):

Admin Functions -> Create WordPress User Account for the members that do not have one
