Okay, so I had a client who wanted to offer a premium support ticket system incorporated into their current eMember platform.
1. Do you currently offer any type of Ticket system as a plugin?
I didn’t see one… and this client is up my you know what…. so I began writing one. I gotta say, this thing is amazing! Thank you for making the php conditions for checking if member is logged in, etc.
Now.. I have this pretty amazing ticket system (custom post types as tickets, admin section for managing tickets, front-end ticket submission and status pages).
It is not yet complete.. but it is getting close. I wanted to double-check to see if this is a feature you guys offer… or plan to offer in the future.
Thanks!!October 8, 2013 at 11:25 pm #58214wpCommerceModerator
Hi, eMember doesn’t have any built-in ticket system at the moment. However, you might be able to achieve something similar by integrating eMember with bbPress forum plugin: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-and-bbpress-forum-plugin-integration-644October 9, 2013 at 3:43 am #58215
I had already come across that in my travels. BBPress is great, I’m sure. But, adding more ‘bulk’ in order to achieve this feature was very undesirable by the client. However, thank you very much for the suggestion!
Well, I think you guys might be interested in what I have developed.
Here are a few screenshots: (sorry, I’m excited to show this off
I would love to hear some feedback… and perhaps even get my hands on a few of your beta testersOctober 10, 2013 at 12:07 am #58216
Hi Josh, What you created looks very good. How do I get my hands on it?October 10, 2013 at 9:11 am #58217
Hello again, my friend!
– I was hoping you would feel that way!
It’s almost done. Just a few more tweaks and tests.
I think by Saturday.. I will have something final for you. Perhaps we can communicate via email and explore our options together?October 10, 2013 at 11:14 pm #58218
Hi Josh, That sounds good. When you are done, please use the contact form on the site to get in touch with me. Simply mention this post in there and it will come to me and then we will chat.October 11, 2013 at 1:01 pm #58219
Have you ever noticed the closer you get to finishing code.. the more crap you realize you have left to complete? It’s like your mind skips over all the little stuff when you’re nearing the finish line.
Be back very soon…October 11, 2013 at 10:46 pm #58220
Thats how it always isOctober 13, 2013 at 11:14 pm #58221

I guess nothing ever came of this? I am looking (without success) for a support ticket system that will work with eMember/eStore.February 22, 2017 at 12:18 am #58223
We prefer to use bbPress forum for handling support. eMember has a bbPress integration:
You can use any support plugin that works with WP users. eMember can integrate with that by usign the following feature:February 24, 2017 at 11:37 pm #58224beachgrrrlMember
Okay, I have activated the options indicated in the article above – it also explains how to import WordPress users into WP eMember, but how do I get my existing WP eMember members into WordPress users?February 24, 2017 at 11:57 pm #58225
Go to the following interface of eMember and read the help text in that section (it should help you):
Admin Functions -> Create WordPress User Account for the members that do not have one
