Ok, so I think I answered my own question above. In the WP eStore product details I unchecked the “Downloadable” choice under the “Digital Content Details” section. Doing that allowed me to use the Download Monitor rewritten url (http://example.com/downloads/The+Title+of+the+Ebook)….and I’m pretty sure it tracked it as well.

amin007…is there ANY use case you haven’t thought of!!!?? You are a genius!

Thanks for the clarification. I didn’t realize that the buy now button had the ability to be product-specific. I was assuming it was a global choice, but now that I know I can set the buy now button url per product, it makes complete sense:)
