You guys are absolutely amazing!!! Thanks so much. It works perfectly. I hope others will find these changes useful too.
Again this show_price option works beautifully.
Any chance of adding similar functionality to
[wp_eStore_category_products_fancy id=1 style=3 order=1 type=1]
Thanks.June 22, 2011 at 10:12 am in reply to: Exclude product id when using show all products or categories #33596
Thanks for the always prompt reply Amin.
In Manage Products I see the number 1 at the bottom of the product list and nothing else beside it. No product information and not even a link to delete or edit that line.
These pages have been refreshed many times and that product was deleted a long time ago. The only thing that is new to those pages is the short code that does exactly what I need it to do.
Also, when hovering over that 1, it shows at the bottom of the browser that it is product page 1. Product page 1 as I mentioned above doesn’t exist.
The number 1 displays on 2 pages at the bottom of the list:
(short code: [wp_eStore_show_all_products style=3 order=1 type=0 show_price=0])
(short code: [wp_eStore_show_all_products style=1 order=1 type=1 show_price=1])
There is no other code or text after these codes on those pages.
Is there any way to edit the data base and reactivate this number 1 and I can then put a product in it if this is a case where the system needs product 1?
I will check back for your answers on Friday as I will not have computer access now for a few days.
Again thank you.
That is great!! Works beautifully. Thank you so much. This is truly an exceptional product and the support is out of this world!!
Thanks very much. That solved my problem. The only thing I noticed was the area in the short codes plug in…I didnt have the code stated that needed replacing so I didnt do anything with it at all.
Such a simple and quick fix!!
It seems to be an IE problem as I was able to open the items fine in the lightbox using Opera. IE 7 and IE8 presented me with the same issue as reported.
Hope this info helps.
Thank you for taking a look. The lightbox works fine for both items in those browsers? I have another browser loaded on another computer and will take a look later at that to see the difference. I am using IE, version 7.0.5730.13 on my main computer and where I am having this issue.
Of course I want and need this feature to work on all browsers so all users have the same experience.
As a side note, I visited the sites of the other forum members reporting this problem and either they havent found a fix or it is limited to IE because I see the same thing still happening.
Again I hope this information is helpful to you to diagnose the problem and provide a solution.
Here is a link to the page: http://www.avabusinessservices.com/eshop/website-templates
The first item opens up in the lightbox just fine, but the second does not. I copied the second item from the first and just changed the image file name so I know the basic configurations are the same. The shortcodes are the same in my page too. I tried switching around the order of the items; added different items; changed the location and file names of the images; and it is always the same result: the second or subsequent items don’t open in the lightbox.
Regarding plugins: I deactivated the lightbox plugin that I was using before downloading and using this eStore plugin so I know I dont have a conflict there. Other plugins I am using: Akisment, SEO, cforms…and a couple that change the admin page only.
Version of eStore: v4.3.2
Wordpress version: 3.0.1
I hope all the above information helps find the problem.
Thanks very much for your time and assistance.
I wonder if this ever was resolved because I am having the same problem. I have checked all my code and only well known plugins are left activated. Again, only the first thumbnail opens properly in the lightbox and subsequent items on my page open to another browser window. Thanks.
