    Hi, I just found a problem with my set up of the WP Affiliate Plugin.

    You provided me with an updated version that allowed me to pass an affiliate token id in the url to an external site.

    Let me explain

    1) I have two affiliate accounts with the same id=asitbelucky on two instantiations of the WP Affiliate Plugin, these are on

    => siteA.com

    => siteB.com

    The Problem

    This affilliate sends a visitor to

    => siteA.com/done-for-you-services/?ap_id=asitbelucky

    on this page is a banner with link configured

    => siteB.com/dfy-service-booking?ap_id=[wp_affiliate_your_id]

    During testing, a user clicks on this banner and should reach the destination website url with the id token attached

    i.e. it should be

    siteB.com/dfy-service-booking?ap_id=asitbelucky

    However, the following error message occurs

    siteB.com/dfy-service-booking/?ap_id=Error!%20You%20are%20not%20logged-in%20as%20an%20affiliate

    Please help fix this, thank you

    Kind regards

    Asit

    Ok, so we need to attach the affiliate id to each link in order for it to be registered in the browser.

    In Dec, you sent me a revised plugin that enables me to attach the affiliate link to any sales page on any site. Here is the email:

    =====================================================

    You can use the following:

    example.com/landing-page?ap_id=[wp_affiliate_your_id]

    =====================================================

    So, does the following work for 2 installs of the plugin on two sites (A + B)

    a) Affiliate send traffic to site A with the following link, their unique affiliate id = salesperson

    => siteA.com/?ap_id=salesperson

    b) On SiteA affiliate clicks a link that I have configured to another product on another site

    = > siteB.com/?ap_id=[wp_affiliate_your_id]

    Will the affiliate link id ‘saleperson’ be passed in the link to SiteB? So he can then get paid for sales made on SiteB (assuming the affiliate has set up 2 affiliate accounts on each site with the same affiliate id)

    Regards

    Thank you, yes your reply went to my spam folder :-(

    So just to confirm (FYI, I don’t have eStore), it is possible so long as I have multiple installs of the affiliate plugin, my affiliate use the same affiliate ID description and I manage the payments to my affiliates accordingly. i.e. each install of the affiliate plugin is a separate affiliate program.

    Therefore, my affiliate can drive traffic to SITE A landing page with his affiliate ID embedded in the link, then if the visitor on SITE A clicks a link to SITE B landing pages (no affiliate ID in the link), any purchase / affiliate commission on SITE B is registered under the affiliate program managed by the affiliate plugin installed on SITE B – so long as the same affiliate ID is registered by my affiliate on BOTH affiliate programs (SITE A and SITE B).

    Is this correct?
